DESCRIPTION OF THE SERVICE

Reliable and comfortable chest strap

The chest belt connected to the sensor conveniently records data about your heart activity. The sensor itself is a device that fits in the palm of your hand and is connected via Bluetooth to the Kardi Ai application on your smartphone.

The belt with the sensor is discreet, invisible under clothing, waterproof, and comfortable to wear during your normal daily activities.

Kardi Ai application

The user-friendly and simple application displays the rhythm of your heart in real time. In the event of problems or ambiguities, the mobile app will notify you immediately, so you know whether it is necessary to seek medical help. All the data of your measurements are securely stored in cloud storage, so you and your doctor have access to the history of all your measurements. Every month, a report with an analysis of your heart activity is generated and sent to you by e-mail.

Connecting with a doctor

The application also has an interface for doctors, who thus have an overview of your heart. The recordings are evaluated by artificial intelligence, which helps in faster and more accurate diagnosis.

Arrhythmias often come in waves and it is impossible to predict when they will occur. There is only a 1% chance of being detected with a routine 10-second EKG in the doctor’s office, 5% with a one-day Holter EKG. The possibility of long-term measurement is the key to the detection of arrhythmia, its diagnosis and subsequent treatment. In addition, 30% of people suffering from the most common arrhythmia, atrial fibrillation, have no symptoms, and their arrhythmia can be caught almost exclusively by preventive long-term monitoring.
Atrial fibrillation affects over half a million people in the Czech Republic. Left untreated, it can cause serious complications, including heart failure or stroke. Lack of awareness of the connection of stroke to atrial fibrillation increases the risk of recurrent strokes, a third of which are fatal. This arrhythmia is also associated with deterioration of mental abilities and may lead to the early development of dementia. These serious complications of atrial fibrillation often affect people of working age as a result of stress and diseases of civilization. Diagnosis and treatment is therefore key.
Kardi Ai represents a significant advance over EKG measurement using a smart watch or credit card sized measuring device. The watch requires a minimum of 38 measurements to obtain the required 19 minutes of recording, measuring only for 30 seconds. Or to think another way, 110 30 second measurements per day every day of the year to meet the recommendations of the European Society of Cardiology. The watch requires the user to remain motionless when measuring and it does not work during the slightest physical stress or during sleep, when we do not control our hands. These limitations leave the physician without the ability to measure the patient while conducting normal daily activities. KARDI AI eliminates these limitations and provides a continuous monitoring system with pre-analyzed relevant data.
Over half a million people in the Czech Republic have been diagnosed with the most common arrhythmia, atrial fibrillation. Despite risk factors such as obesity, an unhealthy lifestyle or older age, cardiologists are increasingly seeing young people in their surgeries who are active in sports and take care of their health. For them, stress or nervousness can significantly contribute to heart rhythm disorders. 30% of people are unaware of their arrhythmia because they do not experience any problems, and the first symptom can be a fatal complication. Heredity also plays an important role in this context.
